  1. 1661–1662Anping, Taiwan · TaiwanIn 1661 he led troops across the sea from Kinmen and Penghu to besiege Taiwan; in early 1662 he captured Fort Zeelandia, expelled the Dutch East India Company, renamed Chihkan Tower as Chengtian Prefecture, established Tianxing and Wannian counties, and secured Taiwan as a base for resisting the Qing, dying shortly after at Anping.
