  2. 1211–1220Vijaya · Bình Định ProvinceFrom 1211 to 1220 Champa was under Khmer occupation, and Angsaraja governed in practice after Dhanapativarman. In 1207 he led a Khmer coalition, including Burmese and Siamese mercenaries, against Đại Việt. Although Champa was nominally subject to Angkor in this period, it was laying the groundwork for later independence.
  3. 1220–1254Vijaya · VietnamAfter the Khmer voluntarily withdrew from Champa in 1220, Angsaraja peacefully took over power and in 1226 held a coronation at Vijaya, taking the name Jaya Paramesvaravarman II.
