- 1407Anhilwada (Patan) · GujaratZafar Khan had served as governor of Gujarat under the Delhi Sultanate since 1391. In 1407 around Patan he proclaimed himself Sultan Muzaffar Shah I, issued coins, and founded an independent sultanate. He died in 1411 and was succeeded by his grandson Ahmad Shah I.
