1. 386Shengle · Inner MongoliaAfter defeating Later Yan and other powers, Tuoba Gui declared himself King of Dai at Shengle, restoring the name of the Dai state and marking the rebuilding of the Xianbei Tuoba regime.
2. 398Pingcheng · ShanxiAfter moving the capital to Pingcheng, Tuoba Gui changed the state name to Wei, known historically as Northern Wei, and began systematically administering the north, laying the foundation for unification north of the Yellow River.
