1. 1019Cheongcheon River to Kuju line · GoryeoAfter years of campaigning and Goryeo's naval attacks and scorched-earth tactics, the Liao army began withdrawing north; Kang Hangzan set an ambush along the strategic stretch from the Cheongcheon River to Kuju.
2. 1019Kuju · GoryeoGoryeo forces launched a general offensive at Kuju; the Liao lines fell into chaos and fled across the field. Records state only a few thousand Liao troops crossed the river northward, and commander Xiao Paiya was killed or went missing.
3. 1019Yalu River · GoryeoGoryeo forces pursued the remnants to the Yalu River, capturing countless weapons and supplies and completely shattering the Liao's third expedition.
