1. 1331–1332Dadu · Dadu CircuitDuring the Zhishun era, El Temür, through military merit and the merit of installing the emperor, held sway over the court, concurrently held many key posts, and actually controlled the government in the later reign of Yuan Wenzong; princes and ministers mostly attached themselves to his household.
2. 1333Dadu · Dadu CircuitEl Temür died of illness at Dadu in the second year of Zhiyuan (1333); his family's power was promptly purged, and the central power structure of the Yuan dynasty passed into the hands of Toqta'a and others.
