  1. c. 984–1022Zhuozhou · Southern Capital CircuitEarly in Tonghe he served as Regional Inspector of Zhuozhou and was meritorious in the campaign against Goguryeo. Late in Kaitai he was Deputy Vice Director of the Inner Secretariat of the Upper Capital; in Taiping 2 the Yalu River fortress was built and Pugu defended it, governing well in his post.
  2. 1026–1031Eastern Capital · Eastern Capital CircuitHe was changed to Military Commissioner of the Guangde Army, soon transferred to Military Commissioner of the Eastern Capital, governing sternly. In Taiping 9 Dayanlin rebelled; Xia Xingmei seized his envoys and sent them to Pugu, who occupied Baozhou, suppressed the rebellion with merit, and was appointed Tiyin. In Taiping 11 he was murdered by his son Tieli.
