  1. 1381–1390Brno · MoraviaFrom 1381 to 1390 Jobst governed Moravia from Brno and elsewhere, sharing the margraviate with his brother Prokop; he frequently intervened in Bohemian and imperial politics, supporting or opposing his cousin Wenceslaus IV, and formed complex alliance–rivalry relations with Sigismund over Hungarian and Brandenburg affairs, accumulating power for his later bid for the German crown.
