Timeline
- 1086–1099Qingliang Temple Ru Official Kiln site · Baofeng CountyDuring the Zhezong reign, a tribute-porcelain administration was established or strengthened in Ruzhou, with imperial celadon fired centrally around Qingliang Temple in Baofeng. Sky-blue glaze and foot-wrapping support-firing were already present, and folk and official kilns coexisted in separate zones, laying the foundation for large-scale palace porcelain production under Huizong.
- 1101–1110Qingliang Temple Ru Official Kiln site · Baofeng CountyHuizong personally set the glaze direction with the aesthetic of 'sky blue after rain'; the Qingliang Temple official kiln zone produced bowls, plates, brush washers and incense burners for the court, typified by agate in the glaze, fine crackle and foot-wrapping support-firing. Archaeological strata containing coins such as Yuanfeng Tongbao and Yuanfu Tongbao show this period was the peak of Ru official kiln output and craft quality.
- 1111–1125Qingliang Temple Ru Official Kiln site · Baofeng CountyDuring the Zhenghe and Xuanhe years the Ru official kiln still fired intermittently for the court, but with the Jin advance south and the Jingkang Incident, Ruzhou fell and the official kiln ceased firing. After the southern crossing the court turned to alternatives such as the Xiuneisi official kiln at Lin'an, and the Ru official kiln entered heirloom collections and later archaistic traditions as a technical object.
